This is really good.
Reapmon was a really good star for this arc, defeating a nostalgic, powerful in multiple ways warrior such as Angemon. Defeated, losing hope, losing a friend, losing an ally.
Is Angemon resurrrected? Can you kill an angel? Is he like a Pokemon where there are so many in his species? (In the court episode, YES HE IS!)
A war in the sand in contemporary times.

My brother's reactions to Samurai Flamenco 15-19
Episode 15:
Wow? His brother committed suicide? Wow! What a deep show!
Holy Watchmen, Batman!
JUSTICE BEAM!
Episode 16:
Ah! He took the bread!
We also get MMM development. What a crazy show.
Wow? King Torture did all that. Man, I wasn't paying attention. What a great show that can provide such great moments for the characters.
Ultimate Prime Minister, said in Japanese accent.
Episode 17:
Wow! A Prime Minister who's powers is to use Public Ratings to defeat enemies.
When did Goto become a Superhero? Samurai Policeman?
Episode 18:
Wow! That was everything that reminds me of what I love about anime.
Samurai Flamenco as a TV show.
Philosophical implications about life.
That's art there.
Episode 19:
Goto! Damnit! How could you have such a terrible life?!
Who the heck is the dude in the end?

My brother's reactions to Samurai Flamenco 12-14 with an actual Quentin Tarantino impersonation.
Episode 12: Where are the great plot twists you were talking about the whole time?!
I see now!
You watch it as one of those crazed Super Sentai fans! Toku and all that!
I can't help not watch the Flamengers fight though.
Still waiting for the plot twists.
Episode 13:
Who cares about the Prime Minister thinking about the leaders before the civilians?
I want a motherfucking plot twist, motherfucker!
That was the whole point of Episode 7 after all wasn't it? Preventing the show from being stale and conform?
In his best Quentin Tarantino impersonation.
It needs more, uh. Guillotine Gorilla...
GUILLOTINE GORILLA?!
Guillotine Gorilla...
You can't write a good plot twist without a, Guillotine Gorilla
GUILLOTINE GORILLA?!
I said, Guillotine Gorilla once. I wont' say it again.
Ok. I'll say it again, Guillotine Gorilla.
Do I have to repeat myself again motherfucker?
Guillotine Gorilla, motherfucker! Guillotine Gorilla!
Episode 14: Holy shit! The television characters were all actually real superheroes the whole time?!
Red Axe?! I remember him!
Holy shit that ending!
I have to stop playing card games for this now!
